“WhatWeerDealinWit" features a measured but forceful exposition by Emcee Sick candidly reflecting on the high-and-low-lights of his path, including victories and shortcomings, substantial and minor. Emotion is palpable, but digressions sidenote struggles with earnest celebrations of the understated variety. Pawcut cracks forward-driving dusty drums, that push lush keys which climb and descend, giving way there and again to a woman’s voice emoting in the ether.
